Brewer Morris have partnered with a global bank who are looking to expand their UK treasury offering bringing a Treasurer into the team.
In a heavily regulated UK market the business is looking for an experienced treasurer to work on their key regulatory reporting processes, such as preparing the ILAAP document. You will be experienced in liquidity management, particularly stress testing as you take responsible for the liquidity planning, acting as a first line control for group treasury.
The role will also bring senior stakeholder exposure both internally and externally as you will be the key point of contact for treasury with the Bank of England. From an internal perspective you will work with a number of areas such as front office and paying agents, managing the FX settlement limits for customers. You will also have people management responsibility with a team of direct reports supporting you on all treasury needs in the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidates either in a treasurer or treasury risk role to take their next step into a global banking institution and take responsibility for the UK operations.
In order to be successful in this role you must have had the following experience:
Delivered an end to end ILAAP submission
Experience in a financial services treasury or treasury risk role (likely to be prudential risk)
Managed a mid-large sized team
Settlements experience (Intragroup loans, deposits)
Hold a treasury or finance related qualification
