As a Reward & Employment Tax Senior Associate/Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and Manager in a small team of ten located in Central London. This close-knit team undertakes a broad scope of work which means that you will be exposed to a range of challenges - making every day different from the last! The team is also rapidly expanding due to the growing amount of work funnelling through so there is ample opportunity for you to progress quickly. You will be dealing with a multitude of different clients including private equity houses, banks, high net-worth individuals and other private client work. Your role will see you delivering specialist reward advice - you will be advising on the taxation of carried interest and unapproved equity reward schemes. The work is complex involving research using legislation, case law and other materials.
To be considered for this position, you will be CTA/ATT/ACA qualified, or equivalent, ideally with experience in carried interest and unapproved equity reward schemes. If you are currently in an expatriate tax role that deals with reward schemes, you will also be considered for this position. In the same vein, you will also qualify if you come from a legal background in which you help set up reward structures. It would also be advantageous for you to have prior knowledge on unapproved pension schemes, however, this is not a strict requirement.
