Our client is a consultancy specialising in R&D tax credit claims. Established in 2020, it has quickly emerged as the challenger to the established market leaders. To date, it has delivered in excess of £30m of client benefit and is currently working on an additional £20m. It has ambitious growth plans to double in size every year for the next 3 years. The growth strategy is simple, recruit the top 1% achieving professionals in the industry and remunerate those individuals at a premium to market rate for proven results. Our client are an extremely high performance firm with all staff having broken sales and delivery records. This role is being recruited for at an exciting stage of their growth plans.
For this role they require individuals that have proven sales and business development experience in the R&D market. They will be required to build a network of referral partners from which to develop client opportunities. You will have full autonomy for your work and must have the gravitas and charisma to build your own portfolio. Our client has a higher performance culture and as such you should be able to perform under pressure in a very competitive environment. Exceptional communication and negotiating skills are a given as is a comprehensive understanding of the R&D industry with demonstrable awareness to be able to give instant guidance to clients on the extent of their claim. Experience in their core sectors of agriculture, construction and software is useful.
The package on offer is DOE but a basic salary of £50-70k plus a commission scheme which pays out at 5% of generated revenue plus an end of year bonus, again pegged to delivery. Commission is uncapped and bonuses are capped at £400k. Fringe benefits are also above market rate; holiday entitlement is 25 days per year with an additional day awarded for your birthday. Holiday entitlement will increase by 2 days after 2 years and 1 day per annum of service thereafter to a maximum of 30 days. After passing probation the role holder will qualify for the gold standard company life insurance and heath insurance policies. Company pension contributions are 5%. You'll be based in their brand new offices in the City of London.
