Managing Director of Transfer Pricing

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing transfer pricing services for a Top-10 Public Accounting firm's clients in the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities

  • grow client base for transfer pricing services in the Midwest region;
  • develop and foster relationships to identify opportunities to provide or expand transfer pricing services at existing clients;
  • effectively managing all aspects of transfer pricing projects, from scoping to deliverables, including technical content, client and internal communications and engagement economics;
  • build, develop and lead a local team of transfer pricing professionals within the existing national transfer pricing practice to successfully provide high quality and timely deliverables;
  • generate business and goodwill for the transfer pricing practice by proactively engaging within the national, regional and local marketplace;


    Qualifications

    15+ years of experience working full time on in a professional role within a transfer pricing group (consulting experience preferred but will consider in-house experience)

    All Of The Following


  • A Bachelor's degree,
  • Certified Financial Analyst designation, American Society of Appraiser's Business Valuation Certification, or Certified Management Accountant designation, and
  • Three years' experience working full time in a professional role within a transfer pricing group.

    OR
  • All of the following:
  • A Master's degree in economics, tax, finance, or accounting,
  • An enrolled agent designation, and
  • Three years' experience working full time in a professional role within a transfer pricing group.

    OR
  • All of the following:
  • PhD degree in Economics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, International Business, Accounting, or other related major, and Attorney with JD or JD/LLM (Passed Bar Exam and maintains active license)
  • Three years' experience working full time in a professional role within a transfer pricing

    Demonstrate strong technical competency in transfer pricing concepts including economics, finance, and international taxation as well as knowledge of U.S. transfer pricing regulations, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS and other relevant legislation in the United States and globally

    Excellent Skills In The Following Areas

  • Staff management, including strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to explain, teach, and encourage teammates to perform to the best of their abilities
  • Project management, including strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and attention to details Communication, including written and oral communication
