M&A Tax Advisor interim in-house tax job, supporting a Group Tax Manager on tax advisory work for M&A activity.

Supporting a Group Tax Manager on the large number of M&A transactions that this company are undertaking globally, this is a key role in terms of the research involved and the stakeholder engagement - with the internal M&A team, legal team, finance team, treasury team and with external advisers.
The technical aspects of this role involve reviewing due diligence and researching on cross border rules with regards to M&A activity along with documentation work. The findings of this activity is then discussed with the Group Tax Manager, afterwhich, together you then liase with the other stakeholders on the progression of the different transactions.
The acquisitions are typically under £10m in value and span the globe.
This interim role is supporting the tax function whilst a permanent placement is found.
To be considered for this role it is advisable to have had experience in researching tax legislation and to have knowledge of the process and activity involved in a merger and acquisition.
