Our client is a high-growth insurance business, who has found the need to recruit a Group Tax Accountant to join their central London team. The role will be responsible for all tax issues related to the business reporting into a part-time Head of Tax.

The role will see the successful candidate manage a broad range of tax issues, with responsibilities for in-house tax compliance, reporting and advisory work across the business. Main responsibilities of the role will include the preparation of Corporate Tax returns and VAT returns as well as overseeing the production of documentation/reports produced by external advisors. The role will also include working on large-scale projects related to changes in tax legislation, as well as support the Head of Tax on M&A projects.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a number of year's experience in a corporate taxation role as well as a thorough understanding of tax reporting systems and processes. The organisation is happy for this experience to have come from an in-house environment or from a professional practice.

This role serves as an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently qualified and wants to accelerate their tax career by working in a smaller organisation, with a broader focus. The position will give you autonomy, but also the support of a highly knowledgeable Head of Tax.
