IN-HOUSE - EMPLOYMENT TAX - SENIOR MANAGER - 12 MONTHS CONTRACT
Join an in-house tax function for a prestigious company in central London, to manage their employment tax affairs for a 12 months contract.
Hybrid working allows for working from home, and visiting this large corporate's head office in zone 1 in London for a minimum of 1 day per week - easily accessible by public transport and surrounded by shops, restaurants and other ammenities.
In this role, the successful employment taxes applicant will be a point of contact for employment tax queries from across the business, liaising closely with HR, payroll, reward, finance and talent acquisition; and will also focus on driving deficiencies in process automation and using offshore teams in the compliance process.
There will be the management of the compliance requirements for the globally mobile workforce, involving cross border remote workers, short term business visitors and global business travellers.
Over the 12 months period whilst in situ. keeping a breast of legislative developments and changes will be key along with ensuring the maintenance of a low risk profile and SAO requirements.
To be considered for this pivotal interim, in-house, employment taxes position, it is essential to have employment taxes experience from a UK setting and this can come from an accounting firm or from an in-house tax background. Operational employment taxes experience in NIC, PAYE, compensation & benefits and year end reporting is essential, as is the advisory side of employment tax.
In-house employment tax roles do not arise often, more so on the interim side, therefore, this is unquestionably an opportunity which cannot be overlooked!
